Minimum Level: 15
Quest Requirement: Complete It’s Probably Pirates

  1. Take the quest “In a Manor of Spooking” from Adventurer’s Guild Investigator and then speak to the Enthralling Illusionist at the nearby Amphitheatre.
  2. Go to the following locations to procure the items needed for the quest, in any order:
    • Jemime at the Goldsmith’s Guild in Ul’dah Steps of Thal – Grotesque Candelabras (Key Items)

  3. Return to the Enthralling Illusionist then head to the Destination at the Leatherworker’s Guild. Speak once again to the Investigator and then speak to the Illusionist.
  4. Enter The Haunted Manor instance by speaking to the Harlequin Guide and obtain pumpkin cookies. You have to complete the quests of the imps in the manor to obtain the cookies as a reward. For the instance, you can sign up with one to four people and the duty finder will fill in any vacant spots. There is no class limit or requirement because it is not a battle instance. You will get any three of the following quests. Note: There is a Sanity Meter. It lowers when you are spotted by one of the minions. hahaha lol
    • Skinchanger: Use smokebomb on pumpkins (Suspicious Pumpkin) to revealed the transformed imp. Even just one player will do. If the chest glows blue, that is the imp. Click it.
    • Arcane Circles: Four arcane circles are scattered all over the manor. All four players must stand on each one at the same time.

      An Arcane Circle

    • Pumpkin Hunt: Find and open all six pumpkins (pumpkin chest).
    • Light the Lanterns: Obtain Smoldering Coals and light four Jack o Lanterns.
    • Jack in the Box: Use the hints (which you can find in the Manor) to find and open two untrapped Pumpkin Chests. Opening a trapped chest will lower your sanity!

    • Cookie Hunt: Obtain a total of fifteen cookies. Bronze baskets have 1 cookie, silver baskets have 3 cookies, gold baskets have 5 cookies.
    • Other Info: Occasionally you will find an Obfuscation Charm. Use it to turn “invisible” for a few seconds so that you can just run past the imps and such. After completing the third task given by the Imp, you will complete the instance.

Conclusion of the Haunted Manor instance

  5. After you’ve obtained the cookies from the Manor, show one to the Investigator to complete the quest. Rewards: 3360 exp, 694 gil, Vampire’s Vest (glamour), Seasonal Event Achievement. Starting NPC: Mayaru Moyaru at x11.5 y13.8 Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (closest aetheryte is The Aftcastle)
Minimum Level: 30

  1. Take the quest “Heroes of Tomorrow” from Mayaru. Proceed to Costa del Sol.
  2. Speak to Haermaga at x32 y28.
  3. Wait for Haermaga at x30.9 y23.9 Hidden Falls, North Bloodshore, Eastern La Noscea.
  4. After that drivel- er, cutscene, go back to Haermaga at Costa del Sol to complete the quest. Rewards: 7410 exp, 547 gil
  5. Speak to J’nangho for the first of your repeatable quests: Dashing and Burning.
  6. Go to Wunthyll at x29.8 y27.7 to get an elbst for the quest then head over to the following coordinates to extinguish the fire on some dummies:
    • x27.9 y32.8
    • x28.4 y27.2
    • x28.6 y24.3
  7. After the cutscene, return to Haermaga to complete the quest. You will receive one Faire voucher and “Dashing and Burning” will be unlocked as a repeatable quest.
  8. Speak to J’nangho for the second of your repeatable quests: Hot n Cold.
  9. Craft or buy three Rolanberry Shaved Ice then give it to the Black Ranger at x27.4 y31.2
  10. The Black Ranger will play an annoying version of hide and seek with you. Here are her possible coordinates:

    • x26.3 y30.7
    • x26.3 y30.0

  12. Speak to J’nangho for the third (and last) of your repeatable quests: Who Let the Bombs Out.
  13. You need to weaken and net three (3) Bygone Bombards around x28 y25. Now let me rant a bit here: What the fuck, SE?! These are low levels monsters for a Level 30 event so I understand that, but what about players who are all-60? We have to wait for a “downtime” when there are barely any players around so that we can switch to a gatherer that will not one-hit the mobs, and then we have to hit it just enough so that we can “capture” it. Did you even think this one out?  Oh great it only responds to first-hit, yay! (Hint: You can use Flash and have a weakling hit the mob)
  14. Release the bound Bombards at x31.2 y25.1 then return to the Re- I mean, Haermaga to complete the quest. You will receive one Faire voucher and “Who Let the Bombs Out” will be unlocked as a repeatable quest. But who the hell would want to repeat that?
  15. After you complete the three repeatable quests once each, the main seasonal quest “A Battle Royal” will be available from Haermaga. Take it and proceed to the Hidden Falls.
  16. After the cutscene, proceed to the area of the seasonal event FATEs listed below and complete both. Speak with the Yellow Ranger at the Hidden Falls to complete the quest. Rewards: 7410 exp, 385 gil, Legacy Warrior Mail, “Go Go Posing Rangers” achievement, armor and pose/emotes unlocked (P’obyano)

    • Z’napha who served the meal; Gold Saucer employee.
    • Lyell who prepared the meal; Gold Saucer employee.
    • Flaurie who was at the same table; victim’s wife.
  3. Search the Gold Saucer for evidence. Return to Ollier at any time, he will have two dialogue options:
    • “The killer is among us, and I know who it is!” – select this only if you want to guess who the killer is.
    • “I’d like to discuss the evidence that I’ve gathered so far.” – select this if you want to discuss your evidence with Ollier
  4. After gathering whatever evidence you can find, you will be asked to present your evidence. Answer the succeeding questions, which may be different depending on your previous answer.
  5. Speak to Ollier at Wonder Square East, then go down to the other event NPCs in front of the giant Sabotender statue. Speak to Ollier once again to complete the quest. • How was the poison hidden? ( “small sealed phial” )
    • Who was the killer? ( “Senor Sabotender” )
    • Why would Senor Sabotender commit murder? ( “Kokomui” )
